Current
Film and Video Projects
Of course we can't rest on our laurels. Looks good, but the bean
counters don't know where to put “laurels” in the chart
of accounts. Jon has some interesting projects in the works, and
these are just the one's he can tell you about.
Wings of Honor: The U.S. Air Force Academy
|
Americans
live lives that would not be possible without a military founded
on civilian control and a professional officer corp. The leaders
of tomorrow's military will come largely from schools dedicated
to that purpose, like the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA).
Of the select few chosen to attend the USAFA in Colorado
Springs, fully one-quarter will not make it to graduation.
Those who do graduate are the cream of that select
crop. These future leaders must not only learn the tactical
skills required of any warrior, they must be people of character
as well. It is the job of the academy to teach the cadets
all of that and more.
Wings of Honor: Building Leaders of Character for the
Nation takes the viewer behind the scenes to discover
the heart and soul of the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Wings of Honor is currently in production and will
be shooting throughout 2005. The crew has already filmed the
USAFA 2004 graduation ceremony as President George W. Bush
addressed the graduates.

Hotels and High Wire
|
In
1908 you could board a train at Denver's Union Station and in
45 minutes be in the elegant mountain community of Eldorado
Springs - there dine in splendor, dance to the music of Glenn
Miller, ride horseback on a Rocky Mountain trail, rub shoulders
with the greats, take in the cool mountain air - and all just
an easy weekend trip.
For twenty years the Eldorado Springs Resort was the "Coney
Island of the West", drawing the residents of Denver
and Colorado Springs, as well as the celebrities of the day.
The dramatic natural setting lent itself to high drama, such
as circus daredevil Ivy Baldwin's 635 foot walk between the
cliff walls, across a raging mountain stream.
