Award winning producer/director Jon Husband has been an innovative
leader in regional film development since 1970. With diverse clients
in the corporate and entertainment fields, Jon’s company Cine
Design Films, Incorporated has become synonymous with quality
timely productions that are on budget.
Projects have ranged from television shows, commercials and documentaries
to educational, promotional and corporate productions.
Jon’s varied clients have included entertainment heavyweights
as Paramount Pictures, PBS, NBC, ABC, CBS, and CBS Records. Only
icing on a cake made of corporate clients like Anheuser Bush, Coors,
Lockheed Martin, TCI, Jones Intercable, Netlink, BBD&O, Ford
Motor Company, Visa, and the National Wildlife Federation.
The talents of Robert Redford, Charlton Heston, Raymond Burr, Ed
Asner, Kathy Lee Crosby, Billy Taylor, Richard Chamberlin, Jacquelyn
Bissit, Richard Nixon, and Ross Perot have graced productions directed
by Jon.

Film, Video, and HDTV
With over a million feet of film production in Jon’s past
he is active in the digital film revolution. Currently working in
advanced mediums Jon’s recent endeavors include several HDTV
projects for the up and coming Lewis & Clark Bicentennial and
a PBS production of “Walking Lightly,” a portrait of
Albert Einstein.
The recipient of numerous awards such as the DAF award for creative
excellence for his TV spots for KBPI radio, three Alfie awards for
Empire Savings, The Wyoming Heritage Foundation, and the American
Humane Society. A fourth was awarded for a long running television
series “Digital Gurus” directed by Jon for Jones Intercable.
A win at the International Wildlife Film Festival for his National
Wildlife Federation Grizzly series, narrated by Robert Redford and
starring Bart the bear, one of Oscar’s few animal presenters.
Another win at the U.S. Film Festival for his documentary about
RTD and Jon’s 1988 Emmy Award for “The Coming of the
Spirits” which was also recognized at the U.S. Film Festival.
His work with the National Repertory Orchestra, with Charlton Heston
reading Aaron Copeland’s “Portrait of Lincoln”,
and Billy Taylor playing his recognizable Jazz piano style landed
Jon more awards. Jon is the recipient of of three Cindy Awards from
the Los Angeles Film Festival, the Chicago Film Festival, and the
New York Film Festival.
Television, Commercials and Corporate Productions
Jon has been instrumental in the development of numerous television
programs such as “New Media News” with over 260 episodes:
“Digital Gurus”, “Computer Kids News”, and
“Ten Nanoseconds of Fame” all with twenty episodes each.
Jon also helped develop the NBC pilot for the series “Celebrate
America” in conjunction with NBC, Apple Computer Corporation
and the Chrysler Corporation.
Jon’s reputation for quality allows him to attract capable
crews with serious production experience on reasonable budgets for
his many clients. He directs with an experienced hand and knows
the needs of his clients and works toward their goals in both the
corporate and entertainment world. He handles an estimated $700,000
production dollars each year for corporate and advertising clients
leading to increased bottom line profits for them.
